SECTORS

Residential, Retail, Hospitality, Workplace

FULL SCOPE

Schematic design and spatial planning, interior concepts, design development, custom joinery, finishes, fixtures and lighting selections. Furniture, styling and art direction. Tender & construction documentation. Working closely with client and builder throughout the construction process as required.

PARTIAL SCOPE

You may require assistance with at least one key area of a project. Although we prefer full scope to ensure a holistic vision, we get it, sometimes you just need that one area to work like a dream, so we do welcome enquiries on partial scope projects.

LIGHTING

This design element can have a vast impact on an interior when done successfully. Lighting impacts mood, lifts and enhances finishes and has an inherent ability to transform spaces. We provide guidance on interior layouts for general and feature lighting as well as fitting specifications. This service can be integrated into a full scope interior design package or, offered as a stand-alone service with an existing project already underway.

P R O C E S S

If the opportunity presents it's recommended that the Interior Designer is engaged at the early stages of your project, alongside architect and builder.

FIRST MEET | Discovery session

This meeting sets out to understand your projects specific needs, objectives, and requirements. We want to get to know you, your thoughts, ideas and style, answer any questions you might have about us, our process and way of working. From this meeting, we will then establish a project fee proposal outlining our understanding of the required scope and our associated services and costs to fulfil.

Upon acceptance of the fee proposal, we will then commence the design journey. A typical process structure and what to expect at each phase is outlined below:

PHASE ONE | Concept design

Creates a holistic and solid foundation for the direction and design intent across the interiors. Communicated to the client through imagery and finishes palette play. A floorplan review is undertaken to ensure practical and functional needs are met.

PHASE TWO | Design development

Drawing from the direction obtained in Phase One, a materials palette (inclusive of physical finish selections) is compiled across all spaces. This starts the journey in creating a sense of emotion and presence for the project.

Space planning schematics, furniture & joinery planning and elevations, fixtures and fitting specifications all take shape to ensure practicality and clients personal requirements are met for each space.

PHASE THREE | Detailed construction documentation

A comprehensive drawing and specification package. This includes final documentation of all plans, joinery elevations, detailed wet areas with referencing to schedules and all information required for commencement of site work.

This complete package can be used for tendering purposes.
